Manjula on Superstar Krishna
I hope some day I will be able to be at least 10 per cent of what my father stands for. When I speak to people I am amazed to know the kind of goodwill and respect he has. I share a mature rapport with him and understand how strong our bond is.
Our relationship has evolved over the years. Dad is my source of strength and support. Even in my school days, he has never been overpowering.
There were boundaries, yes, but we had a lot of freedom to explore and were encouraged to ask questions and learn. Each one of us has observed and learnt from him. He is so disciplined. After I entered cinema, he never monitored every move I made. But if I made a mistake, he was always there to help me out.
I think girls, in general, can express their emotions better and hence, can connect better with dads. I would go up and explain my situation in detail so well that he would always gladly help.
